I called the Hanover police-something I very seldom\nMrs. RICH. Yes.\nwill They also phoned my husband's office. He was work-\nMr. HUBERT. What is his first na\ning that night on dispatch at the cab company. They threatened my life with\nMrs. RICH. I have forgotten.\nhim. Sometimes they would call and say something, sometimes just hang up,\nMr. HUBERT. And the other car t\nsometimes just giggle. But they directly threatened my life. thought per-\nMrs. RICH. Plural.\nhaps it tras something to do with various police organizat ion work I had done,\nMr. HUBERT. What?\nsomebody had a grudge or something. or crank anythingehephonecalls\nMrs. Rich. More than one.\nstopped and they started again I called the police department again. But then\nMr. HUBERT. More than one indi\nI was, in hysterics.\nMrs. RICH. Both. Friday and :\nLast Thursday I was on my way from my home un. to North Attleboro, Mass.\nably 1961, 1962 Chevrolet.\nFor approximately 30 miles I was followed, and subsequentle un until last\nMr. HUBERT. Yes; most definitely. And then again, come Friday, and I get\nMr. HUBERT. Well, they tailed you\nnotification of this, I was just wondering whether or not it added in. It may\nMrs. RICH. Wherever I went.\nI\nand it may not. But I was told to tell you. And I have done so.\nthink I know when I am being taile\nMr. HUBERT. Well, what happened on Friday?\nand a car pulls up and doesn't pass\nMrs. RICH. No. I received notification, your letter.\nwhen I take a turnoff where nobod:\nMr. HUBERT. I see what you mean.\nthink they are tailing me.\nMrs. RICH. And I wondered if it did not somehow have a bearing on this.\nMr. HUBERT. You tried to shake th\nMr. HUBERT. But this tailing was after you got the letter, and after you had\nMrs. RICH. Precisely.\nspoken to------\nMr. HUBERT. And you were not abl\nMrs. RICH. No; it started the day before. It was the same week. Thursday\nMrs. RICH. That's correct.\nI started to be tailed. Rod got the letter Thursday, called the FBI, and God\nMr. HUBERT. When you get to yo\nknows how many people he told. Thursday afternoon I picked up a tail.\nMrs. Rich. The one time the ma\nMr. HUBERT. And you reported that to the Mansfield police.\nline to our property is a river. Ar\nMrs. Rich. That was the first time I saw a policeman that I could pull over\nlooking in the water. And then I W\nand say, \"Get the guy, he is tailing me.\" And he most definitely was.\neating house. Then he would be er\nMr. HUBERT. But there were two occasions when you observed that you were\nup and go away. And in a couple\nbeing tailed.\ntook the car out, they were there.\nMrs. RICH. No; from last Thursday up until Sunday night I had a tail on\nMr. HUBERT. What about at night?\nme.\nMrs. RICH. I didn't go out at night.\nMr. HUBERT. But you reported to the chief of police in Mansfield on Thursday\nMr. HUBERT. Therefore you did not\nthat you had a tail on you.\nMrs. RICH. No; I didn't bother.\nMrs. RICH. The Mansfield police is the one that caught the guy that was\ndaughter down to my mother's. I h:\ntailing me Thursday. I have not had a chance to report-\nMaine and back.\nMr. HUBERT. It was a different person, then, you think.\nMr. HUBERT. How did you get to\nMrs. RICH. The person that has been tailing me Friday, Saturday, and Sun-\nMrs. RICH. By plane; American A\nday is not the same person that has been tailing me Thursday. Ther caught\nMr. HUBERT. Did you notice anytl.\nthe\nMrs. RICH. I didn't notice. 1 dou'\nMr. HUBERT.
