MATHEWS, 5000 Lindaley, Dallam, Toxas,\nCashier and beokkeeper, pitwell 1404 Main Street,\nCHARLES R. CAMBULOS, 3104 Amherst, was interviewed at the\nDallna, van interviewed at her place of busineus. She gave\nInnwood Restaurant, 501.2 Sharp Street, another establishment owned and\nthe following information:\noperated by the CAMBULOS family, owners and operators of the Eatwell\nRest'uurant, 1404 Main Street. Mr. CAMBULOS said he works at both\nthe does not work on Gundays, and, consequently,\nwas\nnot on duty at the Eatwell on Sunday, November 24, 1963.\nestablishments since his father, JAXES c. He said his father still, ns a figure-head more\nrantaurant, but nover does more than pasa thé time of day\nor\nwith him, and can furnish no information as to his activities.\nless manages the Eatwell, and is thero practically every day, but he,\nhimself, makes it E point to be there a good bit of the timo bacause\nShe dous not know shether he was in the Eatwoll on the day\nof the mentioned situation.\nbefore OSWALD shot (Novazber 23, 1963), or on the day of\nthe shooting (November 24, 1963).\nIn three different seasions, and with the assistance of his\nwife, LILLIAN CAMBULOS, in recalling related incidents to refreah his\nMrs. MATTIEWS furniehed the following from her\nmemory, Mr. CAMBULOS gave the following infocartion:\nrecords as the waitreszes who wore on duty at the Eatwoll on\nNovember 24, 1963t\nHe had gone to the lake with his children on Sunday,\nNovember 24, 1963, thus, was not at the Eatwell Restaurant on that\nMILDRED POLLARD\ndate, the day LEE HARVEY oswald was shot at the Dallas Police\nGLORIA FREEMAN\nand has no firsthand Department,\nPAULINE CHILDRESS\ninformation as to whather GEORGE SEMATOR was in\nthe\nplace\non\nthat\ndate.\nthe\nhas\nknown\nSENATOR\nas\na\nfrequent\npatron\nof\nthe Eatwell for a number of years, and knew he was a friend of JACK RULY\nalthough not aware these two were living together until sometine ter\nthe OSWALD shooting. He believes he was at the Eatwoll on Saturday,\nNovetber 23, 1963, but, since he has seen SENATOR in the restaurant so\nfrequently in the past he cannot state whether he came in on this\nparticular date. He explained if he did there was certainly nothing\nsaid, and nothing occurred which would fix this fact In his mind. He\nsimilurly has no specific recollection as to whether he saw SENATOR in\nthe restaurant on the day of the assassination of President KENNEDY, fer\nthe same reasons as just stated.\nCAMBULOS did work at the day on Monday, November 25,\n1963, the Innwood Restaurant being closed on that date. He does\nremember that SENATOR came into the Eatwell that day, and he believes\nthis was sometime in the morning. He sat at the counter and recounted\n\"his troubles.\" He said he had been having trouble with his truck,\nhe had not been able to work, he was without funds, and was having\na\ngenerally hard time.
