    "ocrText": "A POSSIBLE DREAM FOR OUR BICENTENNIAL\nIs a United States of America, as conceived by its Founders, \"The\nImpossible Dream\"? We hope not!\nWould it not be wonderful if, by 1976, our Republic's 200th Birthday,\nour CONSTITUTION could be restored to its original intent, and \"we,\nthe people\" could again become our own masters, completely free of\ndomination and control by the very agency, our Federal Government,\nwhich WE established as OUR SERVANT, to do OUR bidding, and not the\nreverse, as is true today?\nToday, two years before our Bicentennial, are we a free people, a free\nsociety? Do our sovereign states, as created by the CONSTITUTION,\ngovern themselves through their directly elected representatives, dele-\ngating minimal responsibilities to the Federal Government? Or does\nour present Federal Government exert an unconstitutional strangle-hold\non not only state governments but also on the very lives of our indi-\nvidual citizens, through taxes (income, etc. with now a blackmail\n\"revenue-sharing policy toward the states) regulations, standards,\nsupervisory and policing powers encompassing every area of our lives,\nproperty and means of livlihood; Federal Reserve banking, controlling\nthe ups and downs of our economy, creating prosperity or panic at\nwill; ad infinitum, ad nauseum?\nBut in case you haven't really felt the pinch of encroaching Federalism,\nconsider Federal Regionalism, which devides our nation into ten\nsections, controlling, supplanting and replacing our Constitutionally\nstructured states; and Federal \"land-use\" legislation, to control and/or\nconfiscate our private lands, yes, even the small parcel of the good\nearth on which our homes are built.\nIS the United States of America really the impossible dream? Not if\nits citizens awaken in time and present a united front of opposition\nto this creeping and entirely anti-constitutional Federal encroachment.\nIf nothing else will do it, the abiding SPIRIT OF 1776, reaching out\nover these almost 200 years of America's proud history of not only\naspiring to be, but BEING the bastion of liberty whose open arms have\nwelcomed the free-spirited oppressed of the world, should rekindle\nthe burning desire in every American to be self-determining and un-\nfettered by the chains of Federalism and One-Worldism, and carry us\nforward to FREEDOM'S rebirth in 1976!\nDoes this vision, this goal for our Bicentennial, interest or challenge\nyou?
