November 30, 1963 Ar. J. E. Curry Chief of Police Sir: Re: Interview of Reserve Officer, l'atrolman Arthur w. Cagpa, 258 On Rovember 30, 1963 Reserve Officer, PatFol- man Arthur se Capps was intervieved by the undersigned officers as to any information he might have concerning the shooting of Lee Harvey Oawnild not covered in his original re- port dated November 26, 1963. Fatrolcan Cappe ateted that at his place of assignment no one was allowed to pasa except police officers. Two men in civilian dresa were stopped by him as they were walking to- ward the City Hall. one of these mon was identified as aPolice Sergeint and the other as a Patrolman assigned to the Accident Pro- vention Buronu, but he could not identify himself as he had left his dentification at home. Before this officer was allowed to pasa he was identified as being a Peliceman by Officer Patterson. These were the only two people dreased in civilian clethes who were allowed to pasa through Police lines at his location. Cappa further states that he has not been contacted by any federal aganey at this tine. Respectfully submitted, F.A Bannuru T. I.
