Novembor 26, 1963 Mr. J. E. Curry Chief of Folice Subject: Acsignment of Officer Loster c. Taylor On Sundiy, Novowber 24, 1963 Sir: On Sunday, November 24, 1963 I was ausigned to the Tatrol Captain's Office. At approtimately 11:00 A.M., Officer Taylor went to the basement of the Police and Courts Building to Station 505. I was contacted by Captain C. 3. Talbert. He asked if we were busy up- stairs and I told him Uno". Captoin folbert advised me to g° out on the ramp and see if I could be of any ascistance. I contacted Sergeant Patrick I. Dean who assigned me beside the Armored Car on the Commerce Street rang on the enst side of the vehicle. Later Officer R. Ao Matkins. came up on the ramp and took a position at my location. Just before Oswald was brought out, Officor Do L. Pate asked me to come on down to the botton of the raup and help him keen the reporters from coming un the remp to the amored car. This was my location when Oswald wes shot. To the best oi my knowledge I let one (1) person into the building from my location. He was 2 white mole approzimately 6'2", 190 pounds, with grey hair, no hate. This man had a press card, color groen. Officer Watkins was at my location when this man was admitted.
