December 1, 1963 Mr. do to Curry Chief of Police Sir: se: Interview of Reserve Officer, Patrolman Harold 3. Holly Jr., 025 On December 1, 1963 Reserve officer, Fatrolman Harold B. Holly Jr. was interviewed by the under- signed officers na to any information he might have concerning the shooting of Lee Jarvey Oswald. Holly had not submitted a report prior to the interview with these officers. atrolman Holly stated that he reported to the City Hall st approximately 11:30 a.m. on November 24, 1963. He was assigned to work traf- fie at tie intersection of Main and Harwood Streets. at ap roximately 11:45 a. he was assigned to Parkland ospital to assist in the handling of traffic at that location. /hile there, Holly stated that an unknown reserve police officer related to him that he, the unknown reserve officer, had pasaed Jack Ruby into the basement of the City all after Ruby had presented presa credentials. Holly was shown photographs of several reserve officers by Captain J. M. Solomon and was unable to identify this unknown reserve officer. Captain Solomon aivised the undersigned officers to be skeptical of this information and not to place tco much credence in it. Nolly stated that he was not familiar with Jack Ruby and had not seen him on the date of Oswald's shooting. At this time Holly has not been con- tacted by any federal agency.
