Re: interview with Nolan Dement

Sir:
Mr. Dement was interviewed at his place of employment,
Colonial Western Insurance Company, at approximately
1:30 p.M., December 5, 1963, to determine if he had
been in the basement of the City Hall on the morning of
the Oawald shooting and to know and determine if he had
taken any pictures while there.
Mr. Dement stated he had not entered the basement of the
City Hall; that he was on the Commerce Strest side of the
City Hall on the morning of the shooting; did not take any
pictures and could not add anything of value to the
investigation.
