OFFICE MEMORANDUM
To Lt. Revill

Subject: Int. 1162 (Old Alien Files)
Sir:
As stated in my report 211 índices searches regarding CECIL D.
ELFENBIEN were negative, but in file Int. 1162, one MRS. BROWNIE T.
ELFENBEIN, 3054 ALASKA, white female 67 (42) was investigated for
offering a number of German books to the USO on March 7. 1942.
Among those persons interviewed regarding MRS BROWNIE T.
ELFENBEIN'S loyalty to the United States was one R.E. CARLTON,
3029 ALASKA.
The Dallas City Directory reveals that one ROBERT E. CARLTON,
(wife ALLIE), 3029 ALASKA, to be employed as a "rodman" for the City
of Dallas. All indices searches regarding ROBERT E. and ALLIE
CARLTON Were negative.
