The following information was roceived from a confidential
source.
Source states that she was told by another person that a
mechanio from a garago in the downtown area who regularly ser-
viced JACK RUBY'S automobile, had stated that subject had drivon
RUBY°S car soveral times prior to the assassination of PRESIDENT
KENNEDY. When asked by this officer if she knew the name of the
mechanic or the gazago for which he workod, tho pourco gave a
negativo answore
