BUELL WESLEY FRAZIER:
Irving, Texas
We contacted MR. FRAZIER through his attorney, MR.
DAVID HOLLENBECK, whose address is 2500 West Irving Blvd.,
Irving, Texas, in the Southwest Bank & Trust Company Building,
Room 201.
MR. FRAZIER met us in Mr. Hollebeck's office
accompanied by his sister, Mrs. LEE RANDALL. MRS. RANDALL'S
address is 1034 Gregu: Court. Telephone - BL-4-6557.
It should be noted that Mr. Hollenbeck's telephone
number is Area Code 214 - 259-3606.
We discussed with MR. FRAZIER, MRS. RANDALL, and
MR. HOLLENBECK the possibility of MR. FRAZIER voluntarily
returning or coming to the City of New Orleans for the purpose
of testifying in the case of State versus Shaw. We informed
MR. FRAZIER that we were interested in him testifying simply as
he had testified before the Warren Commission. We informed him
that we would pay all of his expenses, and attempted to get MR.
FRAZIER"S home telephone number and address. MR. FRAZIER stated
that he did not have a telephone, and that he did not wish to
give out his address. However, he stated that all of his mail
was received at his sister's home, MRS. RANDALL.
MR. FRAZIER, in the presence of MRS. RANDALL and
MR. HOLLENBECK, agreed to voluntarily return to the City of
New Orleans upon our request. MR. FRAZIER seemed (very disturbed
about testifying in New Orleans, and wanted assurances that he
would be protected and that the press would not be allowed to
talk with him After making the decision to return to New Orleans,
MR. FRAZIER became rather inquisitive relative to the nature OF
our case. On one occasion he asked whether or not Mr. Garrison
had seen the photograph which depicts allegedly BILLY LOVELADY
standing in the doorway of the Dallas Book Depository. Not
realizing what he wanted to say, I simply asked MR. FRAZIER
whether or not he thought that that was in fact LEE HARVEY OSWALD.
His simple answer, and I quote, was "I know that that was not him.
Because of the presence of other people I did not press him
relative to this answer.
MR. FRAZIER further indicated he worked in Dallas,
and that he worked for a company by the name of Vince's Plumbing
or Vince's Pipe Company. I was not able to press him relative
to the exact.name but it was one of these names.
Wè checked in the Dallas Telephone Book and there
is a pipe company known as Vinson's Supply, 10966 Harry Hines,
telephone number SL-7-8461.
