For good measure, I am also sending you a brief report on the meeting held in Birmingham last Friday, convened by the Alabama members of our National Citizens Committee. This is the meeting referred to in Paragraph 2, Page 2, in Mr. Laue's memorandum of April 19th. The Governor also asked me to remind us all of the classified nature of this information.
