    "ocrText": "Brief Summary of Provisions Concerning Public Accommodations\nThe Law guarantees that there will be no discrimination on account of race,\ncreed, color, or National origin, in according full and equal accommodations,\nfacilities, and privileges to any place of public accommodation, resort or amusement.\nlaw\nThe/contains a comprehensive definition of public accommodation which\nincludes, among other types of establishments, hotels, restaurants, rooming\nhouses, saloons, swimming pools, barber shops, beauty parlors, shops, stores,\namusement and recreation parks, golf courses, public and private schools and all\npublic conveyances.\nIn an effort to prevent evasions of the prohibitions of discrimination in\nplaces of public accommodations, the law prohibits any person operating a place\nof public accommodation from adopting or pursuing any custom, policy, practice,\nrequirement or secret understanding of non-membership discrimination or guest\ncard requirement with respect to the operation or management of such place which\nis intended; calculated or designed to, or which shall have the effect of discriminating\nagainst any other person or account of race, creed, color or national origin, or\nby reason of non-membership in a club.\nThe law also requires any person operating public facilities consisting of\nphysical property such as land, beaches or building to file annually with the\nGovernment Secretary a sworn statement of licenses he holds to serve liquor, food\nor drink, or to rent rooms, together with information of what articles are sold,\nwhat rooms are rented and what other facitities or services are maintained for a\ncharge. If any such charges are made to members of a club the statement must also\ninclude an affidavit by the president and manager certifying that there is no\ndiscrimination in such sales, rentals or use based upon race, creed, color,\nnational origin or non-membership in the club.\nThe law further provides that any place at which charges are made for any\narticle or for the use of any property, facility or services is deemed to be"
