JOHNSON, Daily Diary WASHINGTON LBJ Ranch Mrs. Johnson began her day at (Place) Date Sunday, November 27,1966 Entry No. Time Activity 8:39 In the Lincoln left the Ranch with President, Lynda, Mary Slater. 8:40 Picked up Joe Batson at the Guard House on the Dam. 9:00 Arrived St. Barnabas Church in Fredericksburg. Met there by lots of newsmen and the Rev. Milton Brown-chaplain of The Attended services. After church greeted congregation and posed for pictures outside. Then to Old Church for coffee. 10:09 With President and party and George Christian toured Fredericksburg looking for houses to buy to restore. 10:30 Stopped at Mobile Gas Station. 10:46 Left for Main House. With Lynda and Joe Batson took a walk. President had lunch while walking with Lynda About 3:00 Returned with Lynda and Joe and ate with them. 5:00 President was riding with Krims and george Christian. joined them. 5:11 Dr. Isen, Dr. Gould, Mrs. Steve Martine joined the group. 6:19 Returned to Main House 6:35 Went to President's office to discuss lists and presents. 7:00 Left in chopper with Lynda to return to Washington.
