JOHNSON, Daily Diary The LBJ Ranch Mrs. Johnson began her day at (Place) Date Wednesday, 5 July 1967 Entry No. Time Activity 10:16 With the President, M/M Jack Horner & son, Simon & Vicki MdHugh, toured ranches. 11:05 Returned to the main house. 11:10 Worked on samples with Neva West. 12:50 Lunch with the President M/M Wesley West, Simon & Vicki, Luci, Father Keifer, Roy White, Mathilde Krim, Mary Kaltman, Jim, Mary, Marie & Ashton. 4:00 Lynda & Warrie Lynn left for Washington. 5:00 Talked on the phone to Liz, Miss Ima Hogg, Jake Pickle, & Mrs. Bybee. 5:50 Stretched out under the tree -- waiting for the President. 6:16 With the President, Marie, Mary & Ashton, went briefly to the Cedar House (where the President held the baby and let him suck his finger) and then toured ranches. Stopped at the Paul Danz ranch to see bluebells blooming. 8:53 Returned to the main house. 9:00 Dinner with the President, Jim, Mary, Marie & Ashton, Luci & Pat, Bill Hitchcock, Patty McQuirk, 2CKellam. 9:45 Into the living room: Saw movie of (TJ in New England. 11:00 Retired.
