While there, learned that there was to be à large crowd at Reston, but decided to go anyway. 12:05 Left Jean-Lauis'. 12:12 Arrived at the White House 2 12:20 Lunch in the Second Floor dining room with Abe Fortas. 12:55 Left with Abe Fortas for Reston. 1:23 Arrived at Reston -- picked up Mr. Simons and Mr. Salonick for walking tour. Toured industrial area, private home area, and townhouse sites (visited model townhouse); walked to elementary school and plaza; went inside teen center and Library and then drove to the summer music tent. 3:07 Left Reston with Abe Fortas. 3:42 Arrived at the White House Changed clothes. 3 4:15 To the Red Room for tea with Mrs. Matsas, the wife of the departing Greek ambassador. 4:43 To the Diplomatic Reception Room to bid good-bye to Mrs. Matsas. 4:50 Returned to the Second Floor.
