The President talked about our retiring soon -- he wasn't very happy about the pancakes. 9:30 Sunbathed on the upper deck. 11:00 Played bridge on the fantail with Jake, Beryl, and Liz Roberts. The exhaust fumes made me sleepy. (Watched Sen. Dirksen and Sen Kennedy on TV) Nap. 2:00 More guests arrived by small boat: M/M Bill Deason, M/M Lloyd Haekler, M/M Tom Johnson, Dr. Davis and his son Tim, Margaret Mayer. 2:30 Lunch inside: hamburgers. Called Pat & Luci in Nassau to wish them Happy Anniversary! 3:30 Had a nap with the President. 4:00 Lynda and Chuck Rob6, Warrie Lynn and her date arrived. 4:30 Played bridge on the lower deck with Lynda & dates (Warrie Lynn watched). 6:05 Dr. Davis gave a brief sermon. 6:30 To the upper deck -- it was glorious! 7:30 Dinner on the Upper Deck -- roast beef & baked potatoes.
