JOHNSON, Daily Diary Hotel Pierre, New York City Saturday, 11 November 1967 Mrs. Johnson began her day at (Place) Date Entry No. Time Activity 9:13 Left the Hotel Fierre with Bess -- since we were early, stopped by Paley Park (E. 53rd and Park Ave. ) for coffee & a sweet roll. Then went on the Laguardia. 10:00 Left New York on Eastern Airlines Shuttle. 11:08 After landing at National Airport, arrived at the White House. Went to Lynda's room -- then went back, picked up some work, and left for Jean-Louis. 11:28 Arrived at Jean-Louis' -- had a hamburger there -- talked with Carol Laise on the phone. 1:42 Arrived at the White House. Picked up shower gift for Lynda. 1:50 Left the White House. 2:10 Arrived at the Deason residence for shower for Lynda. 3:30 Left the Deasons' -- returned to the White House with Lynda and Joanne Christian who was going to accompany me to Williamsburg to join the President. Recorded for a few minutes. (Chuck 5:00 Left the White House with Lynda and Joanne -- to Anacostia to take chopper. En route, the destination was changed from Williamsburg to joined) Yorktown. 6:25 Arrived Yorktown -- walked to the President's chopper -- then on to Williamsburg. 6:45 Arrived Williamsburg -- short ride to the W-burg Lodge. Changed clothes for the Gridiron Dinner.
