Left the White House with the President -- to the Department of Commerce -- population
of the United States reached 2 million -- the President made a speech.

Returned to the White House with the President -- stopped off in the Rose Garden
met with Mr. Williams' assistant.

Left the White House for Jean-Louis to have shampoo & set.

Returned to the White House. (In the meanwhile, the new bed had been moved
into my room)
