Nation" (Katzenbach) & "Meet the Press" (Rusk & MdNamara).

Lunch with the President, Homer & Eloise Thornberry, Mathilde & Arthur Krim,
Marie Fehmer and John Criswell. (On trays in the President's room).
Left to get dressed.

Took a drive through Washington with Mathilde Krim.

To the Bowling Lanes with Mrs. Krim.

Returned to the Second Floor with her.

In the West Hal l with the President, Krims, gohn Criswell, Marie. The President
told about the meeting he'd just had in his office -- also teased Mr. Krim
about not knowing the difference between East & West, -- etc.
