    "description": "On the morning of October 5, 1965, President Johnson met with former President Dwight D. Eisenhower aboard an airplane at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland They discussed the India-Pakistan situation, the political climate in the Dominican Republic, and how to inform the American public of Johnson's upcoming gallbladder operation. In the evening President Johnson announced to the press that he would be having surgery to remove his gallbladder. During the day, the President announced the White House Conference \"To Fulfill These Rights,\" would be held in November; its objective would be \"to help the American Negro fulfill the rights which, after the long time of injustice, he is about to secure.\" In the late afternoon, Johnson attended a Cabinet meeting in the Cabinet Room, and a briefing for business leaders in the East Room on Vietnam, the economy and foreign relations.",
