January the Fourteenth
My dear Friend:
My secretary, Halter Jenkins, has told me of your
thoughtfulmess in o to make space available for the
family of Felix Longoria.
I have no information about when the funeral may be
what the plans of the family are for coming here. Howerer,
I do want to congratulate you and express my personal appre-
ciation for your considerate and heart-warming spirit of
generosity.
Personally, I was proud to have a share in clearing
the injustices which befell the Longoria family. It is
comforting to know that you feel the same.
