Page 2, continued, REPRESENTATIVES vote INQUIRY IN LONGORIA CASE. He asked a five-man group from the House to investigate and report back before March 1. Gray's resolution said that the inquiry "1s now absolutely necessary for the continuation of good relations among the peoples of South Texas and to our internatione) relations. He added that *without the publio knowing the racts, in- justice is being done to the people involved in this con- troversy making it double necessary that the truth be found. Gray told the House he had received a report today that the commission had erronecualy reported the breaking off of labor contract negotiations between the United States and Mexico as a result of the Longoria incident. "Alfonso Guerra, a Mexican foreigh ministry official, has officially denied that report, " declared Gray. The South Texas representative has introduced a bill to abolish the Good Neighbor Commission. [22 of 31]
