It Agentry\nund has been so acquainted with him for five years,\nand that the said bhanks 2. It Hauntry\nhas continually resided within the limits and under\nthe jurisdiction of the United States of America for five years last past, and for one year last past within the\nState of California, and that during such time he has behaved himself as a man of good moral character,\nattached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and\nhappiness of the same.\nR.f M Lachlan\nSubscribed and sworn to in open Court this\n27th\nday of april\n.4. H Hawty\nhaving thereupon produced to the Court such\nevidence, made such Declaration and Renunciation, and taken such Oaths as are by the said Act required,\nthe Charles L.
