D. 1887 personally\nappeared in the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, before the Clerk thereof, Nicholas Kerling\nan alien, and reports himself for Naturalization, and being\nduli sworn, on oath declares that he is a native of, Germany\naged\n21\nyears, and owes allegiance to the Emperor of Germany\nthat he emigrated thence, embarked at Namburg\nand arrived\nat newyork\nin the United States, on the Apt 2nd day of sept\n1883 and that it is Bona Fide intention to reside in, and become a Citizen of the United\nStates, and to renounce all allegiance and Fidelity to every Foreign Prince, Potentate or Sovereignty whatever,\nand particularly to the Emperer of letermany\nMicholas Knoling\nSubscribed and Sworn to before me this\nday\nof Sept\n188;\nan Centimong I BIttDumsmoor\nE\nbeak\nClerk of said Superior Court, hereunto set my hand and\nOfficial Seal, this\n2 yet\nday\nof Sept\n1889.\nClerk.\nBy ambilline\nDeputy\nDECLARATION OF INTENTION.\nUNITED STATES OF AMERICA.\nSTATE OF CALIFORNIA,\nss.\nCOUNTY OF LOS ANGELES.\nit anown, That on the\n27\nday of Sept\nappeared in the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, before the Clerk thereof, Robert Mcleracken ,\nA.
