D. 1859 pezsonally\nappeared in the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, before the Clerk thereof,\nArtray\nan aljeu, and reports himself for Naturalization, and\nbeing duly sworn, oath declares that he is native of England\non a\naged 24.\nthat he emigrated thence, embarked at London\nyears, and owns allegiance to Victoria Queenof England\nand arrived\nat Galveston\nin the United States, on the 15th day of march\n1887 and that it is Bona Fide his intention to reside in, and become a Citizen of the\nUnited States, and to renounce all allegiance and Fidelity to every Foreign Prince, Potentate or Sovereignty\nwhatever, and particularly to Lidena Quind England\nSubscribed and Sworn to before this 26th day\nS.Gray\nme,\nof September\n1889\nIn\nCestimony I, bH\nClerk of said Superior Court, hereunto set my hand and\nSEAL.\nOfficial Seal, this 26th\nday\nof.
