D.\nappeared in the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, before the Clerk thereof\nSamuel Duston\nan alien, and reports himself for Vaturalization, and\nbeing duly sworn, on oath declares that he is a native of.\nEngland\naged 4.9\nyears, and owns allegiance to: 2num Mictoria\nthat he emigrated thence, embarked at Liverpose\nand arrived\nat\nnew York in the United States, on the\nday of Afone\n1871, and that it is \"Bona Fide his intention to reside in and become 'a Citizen of the\nUnited States, and to renounce all allegiance and fidelity to every Foreign Prince, Potentate or Sovereignty\nwhatever, and particularly to 2 neen Victoria\nTamuel Duftin\nSubscribed and Sworn to before me, this 31\nday\nof march 1890\n9n Testimony Whereof, I,\nClerk of said Superior Court, hereunto set my hand and\nSEAL\ngro\nOfficial Seal, this 31\nday\nof march 1890\nCHAS.
