    "ocrText": "DECLARATION OF INTENTION\nUNITED STATES OF AMERICA.\nSTATE OF CALIFORNIA,\nCOUNTY OF LOS ANGELES.\n:-\nSe it Snown,\nThat on the 25 day of Jan A. 1888\nD. personally\nappeared in the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, before the Clerk thereof, mus Eliza a phillip\nan alien, and reports hibself for Naturalization, and being\nduly svorn, on oath declares is a native of Canadas\naged 43\nyears, and owes allegiance to\nQueen Viotona\nthathe emigrated thence, at deserviction\nembarked\nand arrived\nat\nBoston\nin the United States, on the\n21\nday of Sept\n1887 and that it is Bona Fide we intention to reside in and become a Citizen of the United\nStates, and to renounce all allegiance and Fidelity to every Foreign Prince, Potentate or Sovereignty whatever;\nand particularly to\nQueen Victone-\nhis Eleye a Phileips\nSubscribed and Sworn to before me this\n25\nday\nseat\nan of Jan I 1888.\nClerk of said Superior Court, hereunto set my hand and\nOfficial Seal, this\n25\nday\nJan\n1888\nHe Demensor Clerk.\nDeputy.\nDECLARATION OF INTENTION\nUNITED STATES OF AMERICA.\nV\nSTATE OF CALIFORNIA,\nCOUNTY OF LOS ANGELES.\n}-\n# it anown, That on the\n26th\nday of January\nA.
