D. 188 8, personally\nappeared in the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, before the Clerk thereof, Benjami bo\nan alien, and reports himself for Naturalization, and being\nduly sworn, on oath declares that he is a native of,\nbanada\nthat he emigrated thence, embarked Brookville benanda\naged ez\nyears, and owes allegiance to Victoria Receints English\nat\nand arrived\nat, morristron nry in the United States, on the, 17\nday of nov\n1883, and that it is Bona Fide his intention to reside in, and become a Citizen of the United\nStates, and to renounce all allegiance and Fidelity to every Foreign Prince, Potentate or Sovereignty whatever,\nand particularly to Alectoria Lean of Eights Etc\nBenfamin Chaffy Shepherd\nSubscribed and Sworn to before me this\n25\nof\nSteby\nday\n1888.\nA\nan Cestimong Whereof, I betterment\nClerk of said Superior Court, hereunto set my hand and\nOfficial Seal, this 25th\nday\nof Jeby 1888\nClerk.\nBy\nDeputy.\nDECLARATION OF INTENTION.\nUNITED STATES OF AMERICA.\nSTATE OF CALIFORNIA,\nss.\nCOUNTY OF LOS ANGELES.\nSe it Snown, That on the\ngoth\nday of Fily\nSuroos ly\nStephen\ng.
