D: 1885, personally\nappeared in the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, before the Clerk thereof,\nthey Anna M Barthel alien, and reports himself for Naturalization, and\nan being\nduly sworn, on oath declares thathe is a native of tunning\naged\n61\nyears, and owes allegiance to Comparonof handway\nthat he emigrated thence, embarked at\nHavi\nand arrived\nat\nnew Back\nin the United States, on the\nday of\n188.8, and that it is Bona Fide intention to reside in, and become a Citizen of the United\nStates, and to renounce all allegiance and Fidelity to every Foreign Prince, Potentate or Sovereignty whatever,\nand particularly to Empereof Cunning\nanu n Gerrthel\nSubscribed and Sworn to before me this\n19\nday\nof\nMarch\n1886\nan Centimong I 4 H Dunsmore\nClerk of said Superior Court, hereunto set my hand and\nOfficial Seal, this\n19th\nday\nof\nMarch\n1888\nClerk.\nBy\nJohn SFuncher Deputy.\nDECLARATION OF INTENTION.\nUNITED STATES OF AMERICA.\nL\nSTATE OF CALIFORNIA,\n88.\nCOUNTY OF LOS ANGELES.\nSe it Anown, That on the\n19\nday of marah\nA.
