D. 1888, personally\nappeared in the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, before the Clerk thereof,\nChristian Hohnstant\nan alien, and reports himself for Naturalization, and\nbeing\nduly sworn, on oath declares that he is a native of Gurmany\naged\n2H\nyears, and owns allegiance to Empered of Germany\nthat he emigrated thence, embarked at\nBremen\nand arrived\nat\nBaltimore\nin the United States, on the 14th day of May\n1882, and that it is Bona Fide his intention to reside in, and become a Citizen of the\nUnited States, and to renounce all allegiance and Fidelity to every Foreign Prince, Potentate or Sovereignty\nwhatever, and particularly to Emparou of Commony\nbrintian Holmstant\nSubscribed and Sworn to before me, this\n27\nday\nof Sept\n>\n1888.\nIn Gestimony\nI, 676Dunsmoor\nClerk of said Superior Court, hereunto set my hand and\nSEAL.\nOfficial Seal, this\n27\nday\nof Sept.\n1888.\n+\nBy\nJohn Sheichan Deputy.\nDECLARATION OF INTENTION.\nUNITED STATES OF AMERICA.\nSTATE OF CALIFORNIA,\nCOUNTY OF LOS ANGELES.\nfor\nHe it Hoown, That on the\n27th\nday of September A.
