being duly sworn, on oath declares that he is a nativé of Franci

years, and owns allagiance to the Republic of Thanad
and arrived
at New Orleane

1888, and that it is Bona Fide his intention to reside in, and become a Citizen of the
United States, and to renounce all allegiance and Fidelity to every Foreign Prince, Potentate or Sovereignty
whatever, and particularly to The Republic oferance
