DECLARATION OF INTENTION UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. STATE OF CALIFORNIA, COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES. 1- Be it Hoown, That on the 9th day of march M.D. 1889 personally appeared in the Superior Court of Los Andeles County, before the Clerk thereof, 5 ha Hermann Schlegel an alien, and reports himself for Naturalization, and being duly sworn, on oath declares that he is a native of Derm any that he emigrated thence, embarked at Bremen aged 47 years, and owns allegiance to the peror of Germany and arrived at Yus Orleans. in the United States, on the 25th day of April 188/ and that it is Bona Fide his intention to reside in, and become a Citizen of the United States, and to renounce all allegiance and Fidelity to every Foreign Prince, Potentate or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to the Compuned Germany Hermannal Schiel Subscribed and Sworn to before me, this 9 day of march 1889. D. 1889. personally appeared in the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, before the Clerk thereof, Cmil Fries an alien, and reports himself for Naturalization, and being duly sworn, on oath declares that he is a native of Austerland aged 23. that he emigrated thence, embarked at Harr years, and owns allegiance to the Republic of lungerland and arrived at New Yorb in the United States, on the 20th day of march 1887 and that it is Bona Fide his intention to reside in, and become a Citizen of the United States, and to renounce all allegiance and Fidelity to every Foreign Prince, Potentate or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to the Republic of suntynslands Emil Subscribed Sworn to and before me, this 11th day of march 1889 In Bestimony Ulbercof, I, I Clerk of said Superior Court, heraunto set my hand and Seal, this day of.
