D. 189% personally\nappeared in the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, before the Clerk thereof\nJohn William Kraft\nan alien, and reports himself for Naturalization, and\nbeing duly sworn, on oath declares that he is a native of\nGermany\naged\n49\nyears, and owns allegiance to the Comperer of Germany\nthat he emigrated thence, embarked at\nCambury\nand arrived\nat New Orlans\nin the United States, on the\n.day of\n18A23\nand that it is Bona Fide his intention to reside in and become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce\nall allegiance and fidelity to everu Foreign Prince, Potentate or Sovereignty whatever and particularly to\nthe Emperor of Germany\nJohn William Kraph\nSubscribed and sworn to before me, this\n3u\nday\nof\net\n1895\nan Cestimonis Whereof, Nealin.
