it Kuown, That on the 17th day of September D:189 Linersonally
appeared in the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, before the Clerk thereof to Robert m
Eagar
an alien, and reports himself for J'aturalization, and
being duly sworn, on oath declares that he is a native of Canada
aged 22 years, and owns allegiance to Diven optioned
that he emigrated thence, embarked at # Brandon, man.
and arrived
at Porttand, Oregon in the United States, on the 7 day of Servey 1895
and that it is Bona Fide his intention to reside in and become a Citizen of the United States, and to renounce
all allegiance and fidelity to every Foreign Prince, Potentate or Sovereignty whatever and particularly to
the Queen of England
