California.\nus\nThe United States of America, through\nFREDERIOK JONES its_chie?\nNaturalization Examiner, presents this, its petition, and respectfully represents:\nourt\nTHAT on\nMay 20, 1914\nFridolin Meier\n,\n, a native of\n7.\nswitserland\n,\nand a subject of\nSwitmerland\n, filed\nhis declaration of intention to become a citizen of the United States, No. 7301\nin this court;\nears,\nsonal\nTHAT the said alien, at a time when the Government of the United States was at\nwar with a sovereignty other than that to which the said alien owed allegiance, under\noath, in affidavit form, before Local Board No.\n4\nthes,\n. for Los Angelas\n(County)\nRedondo Beach\nNo.\nCalifornia\n,\n,\n,\nclaimed relief\n(City)\n(Division)\n(State)\nfound\nfrom liability to military service in the armies of the United States, and further\nunder oath declared that he, the shid alien, had made the declaration to become a\ncitizen of the United States herein referred to, and that it was well known to him\nthat under Federal statute, to wit, the act of Congress appreved July 9, 1918, his\neside\nact of claiming relief from liability to military service in the armies of the\nUnited States operated to withdraw and cancel his declaration of intention, and for-\nl\never debarred him from becoming a citizen of the United States;\nnd\nTHAT the said Local Board hereinbefore named, in pursuance of the provisions of\nthe said act of July 9, 1918, and of Regulation No. 1174 of the Selective Service\n/ last\nRegulations by the President of the United States, governing the withdrawal of dec-\nlarations of intention by neutral aliens, and their exemption from military service,\naccorded to the said alien exemption from such military sorvice.\nreign\nWHEREFORE, Your petitioner, the United States of America, prays that in pursu-\nance of the said act of July 9, 1918, the declaration of intention No. 7301\nfiled by the said alien in this court as above stated, be cancel.ed and held for\nnaught, and an order be entered in and upon the records of this court, forever debar\noject ;\nring the said alien from citizenship, and that a copy of said order be sent to the\nBureau of Naturalization, United States Department of Labor, at Washington, D. c.\nn the\nIndians\nday\nGatei Naturalization Examiner\nnot a\nMAR 4 1919.\nSubscribed and sworn to before me this,\nday of\n, 19\nfaith\nH.J. LELANDE, County\nerein:\nmy Edsmiths Depusty Olerib\nWidin\nUPON consideration of the foregoing petition, it is hereby ordered and decreed\nthat the declaration of intention of the alien named in the records of this Court bo\ncanceled and held for naught, and that he is forever debarred from becoming a citi-\na\nz en of the United States; and it is further ordered that the Clerk of this Court\nshall forward a copy of this order torthe Bureau of Naturalization, U. s.
