thirty five eighteen hundred and years sixly of age, that he - arrived like at Boston and is

District of Manachwetts in the United States of America,

or about the fifteenth day of Septembers the year of our
Lord eighteen hundred and eighly sex was,
that it then
and still is, his bona fide intention to become a citizen of the United States
of
America, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign
Prince, State, Potentate and Sovereignty whatsoever,-more especially to
Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland,
whose subject he has heretofore been. He therefore prays, that his said Declara-
tion and Intention may become a record of said Court, agreeably to the laws in
such case made and provided.
Whereupon the Declaration of the said Petitioner is admitted to become
a
record of said Court accordingly.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed
the seal of said Court, at Boston, this 16th
day of August A.D. 1897, in the one hundred
and turely of the Independence of the
United States of America.
