.An Act to
ghout the
ORDERED: That in the matter of every petition for
naturalization wherein no. final action has been had within
six monthe after the filing thereof, the Clerk of this Court
shall set said petition for final hearing at the firet regu-
lar naturalization day oocurring not lese than tirenty days
thereafter, and shall cause to be mailed to the zetitioner
a notice to the effect that unlege said applicant appear with
hie witnesses for final hearing at the time set, or show good
cause for non-appesrance, the said petition shall be then
dismiesed, and ordered, further, that in all such cases where-
in petitioners, after euch notice, fail to appeer et the date
80 vot, or show good cause for non-appearance, the retition
thall be forthwith dismissed, unless sufficient veason appeor
entitling the petitioner to further continuance.
