1898, personally a peared in the Supeior Court of Los Angeles Counti, before
the Clerk thereof Ins Kreegel
an alien,
and reports himself for Neturalizationand being duly sworn, on oathdeclares
that is native of Gernsan

93 years,
and owes allegiance to the Emper of Fernuary
that he emigrated thence, embarked at
Bremen
and
arrived at Newyork the United States, on
the
day of And
180 and that it is bona fide his intention
to reside in, and become a Citizen of the United States, and to renounce all
allegiance and fidelity to every Fryeign Prince, Potentate or Sovereignty what-
ever, and particularly to the Comperm of Fermany
