Filed may 11th 1914 3 TO BE ADAITED A OATH OF ALLEGIANCE I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, and particularly to George V, King of Great Britain, and of whom I have heretofore been a subject (and that : [SEAL.] an order of nobility, which I have heretofore hold); I further renounce the title of Thereby filed, especially showeth: that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; and that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same.
