This file contains the results from two surveys, the Dwelling Unit Survey and the Home Interview Survey, Trip Summary. Survey data are from a 5-percent sample of dwelling units and trips in the Baltimore metropolitan area. The Dwelling Unit Survey has data identifying each unit surveyed by location, type of structure, number of residents (total, number over age five, number employed and making trips), number of trips (by total, car driver, car passenger, transit, taxi, truck or school bus), number of cars owned, status of driver's license, and sample weights. The Home Interview Survey, Trip Summary file has data identifying persons by occupation, industry, and sex. Data relating to trips include the origin and destination (by sub zone, land use, time, and purpose), mode of travel, car occupancy, vehicle type, type of parking, and sample weights.
