Friday march 7
P.presented his fruit long. medals of Honor
today Ceremony in the East Room - with the
Marine Band, families, et He did a maweloom
for of personalizing the presentations x broke from the
script to have the families each come up for a pecture
afterwards - while he chatted informally with them.
Very well done- - and a departure from the part when
L BJused there occasions to defend his wan policy.
Rest of the day was clean up appts - and a
visit to the C/A. Decided this morning tgo to
Florida for the weekend - had planned on Camp David
Problem is Helene Drown. all the troops really had
to hop- - but we made it E+I spent meriof the

Saturday march 8

E I to P's at 10:00 -long the talk on his
