Wednesday Sept. 30
NATO Belgrade P. holed up up all morning et AFSOUTH
w/ fait NATO military commandes -then US Ambasrodes
to Meditenancan nations. mal form than substance.
Then to Yugorlavia care 100%
Correct + protece - no crowd-no hearing etc. motorcade
was pretty much the same Large currds on streets - but
can never slowed down or stopped-people were kept way
back at curbs They did wave am.r yugo flags - but that
kept them from clapping -of they didn't cheer much some tried
to throw flowers but police stopped them. all in all it was
not what we be hoped for after at
the Palace - P. left by his own motorcade to Tomb of
Unknown Soldin -which turned out to 6 1/2 Lown out
into the country -again fewpeople just fields But
those we did see were much more enthusiastic
P. had me ride of him kept top open jumped up
whenever we hit a crowd. Decided to try a detocu
into the city on the way back I had C start so they it up
Told Heighes (all by radis cincan) to act weath ceremony
as shortas possible - it was sched gh 25min -we did it
in 10. Then went back into city to shopping aistrict -
hit it about 6:00 of it worked perfectly P.stopped
car a couple of times - was completely engulfed by
crowd - got up on hard- felda baby awa
moved slowly crowd was very enthusiastic Cheering
clapping etc. - came out to can P. lode standing up.

Tito's dinner started r hour late then they were even
later arriving at reception - t it can overtime not was
over an hour late returning topalau-after midnite and

was unbelivate new - can armed way direction -tore
