CANADA PRIME MINISTER PREMIER MINISTRE t t a W a, K1A OA2, November 23, 1973. Dear Mr. President: Thank you for your letter of November 14th. I accept your suggestion of early consultations on short-term energy supply problems and also on longer term energy prospects. Arrangements have been made for our officials to meet with yours in Washington on November 27th to examine the current situation as well as to set an agenda for a meeting early in the new year between Governor Love and Mr. Macdonald on longer term issues. In the meantime, Canadian Ministers will give high priority to a review of how our two countries can cooperate with respect to our longer term energy needs, in the light of the long term needs of the Canadian economy.
