SUBJECT
Presidential Reply to Trudeau's Report on
His Visit to PRC
On October 29, Prime Minister Trudeau sent the Present a letter
reporting on the impressions he gained during his visit to the PRC.
The memorandum for your signature to the President at Tab I. would
forward the Trudeau letter together with a proposed Presidential
letter of thanks. The President's reply to Prime Minister Trudeau
has been coordinated with Dave Gergen.
Richard H. Solomon concurs.
RECOMMENDATION
That you sign the memorandum for the President at Tab I.
