Memorandum for: NSC Secretariat
The White House
Subject: Letters to President from Canadian
Prime Minister Trudeau
The Canadian Embassy delivered to the
Department the attached two original letters
from Prime Minister Trudeau to the President,
the texts of which were received telegraphic-
ally at the time they were written. They are
concerned with energy supply problems between
Canada and the United States.
Replies to both letters have already been
communicated telegraphically to the Prime
Minister through our Embassy in Ottawa.
