Mrs. Nixon had been asked to be the honorary chairman of
the 25th Anniversary of tixe Isreals Independence Ball. JH
wanted HAKs views on whether Mrs. N. should accept.
HAK said yes. JH said the only thing that would possible
be adverse would be the effect on the Arab states. HAK
didn't think it would bexthatsback offend them that much.
