TELCON David Rockefeller Mr. Kissinger 2-13-69 10:15 AM K said he will be going to Europe with the President and will be tied up until then. R said he is leaving for Europe tomorrow. K asked if he would be seeing Strauss - R said yes. K asked R to find out if he (I did not hear xfx all of this and assume "he" is Strauss) could come to breakfast with K on Feb 27 at 7:00 AM at hotel or perhaps he could come at 7:00 the evening of Feb 26. R said he would be glad to speak to George Harrar re the job. K said he would check with Rogers to be TXX sure he had been offered the job. R mentioned letter he had received some time ago from former President of South Vietnam and asked to whom he should sent it. K said R could send it to him and he would pass it on. Secy Rogers Mr. Kissinger 2-13-69 10:25 K said President has now gone over this thing (Chinese letter, I guess) and XX there are just a few minor changes. K said he had justé talked with David Rockefeiller and he would be happy to talk with Harrar if R thought it would help. R said he would call Rockefeller.
