K said President had asked him his impressions of meetings he did
not attend. K said he had told him that R was one hell of a guy to
negotiate with - he was tough as nails but constantly presenting a
moving target. President told him he should tell R that.
R said he was sending letter over to K.
Both agreed it had been a good trip.
