HAK said that the NSC meeting (Smith's portion) was being put
off until Saturday if that was o.k. Smith said he was planning
on leaving Saturday night but that shouldn't hurt his departure.
Smith said he would like to have a picture and formal announcement
and have the President sign the letter of instructions before he
leaves.
HAK XOXXX assurred him that this would be handled before his
(Smith's) meeting or opening session on March 17.
