K said he was calling about Kraft article and wondered who had
been talking to him. L asked if he was at that meeting on
Friday (Overseas Press Club). K said no and nothing was said
at that meeting that would even vaguely suggest this. L said
he thinks we should talk to Kraft. L said he notices that some
of the people are playing Pxxxxxxxx Rogers' press conference
as unilateral withdrawal in the future. L said he has tried
to stay away from that in his public appearances.
L said he would like to find out who is feeding Kraft this stxxdxix
stuff - this is second one. K said he has not talked to him for
three or four weeks. He talked to him when he came back from
Europe re the NVN stories. L said maybe he should call Kraft
but then decided not to. L said most serious problem is that
they (columnists) try to develop feelingthat there is great division.
